LARCC (Lakelands Area Retreat & Cancer Centre) is a Cancer Support Centre The LARCC Cancer Support Centre opened in November 2002 and was the inspiration and design of the late Ita Bourke, who after being diagnosed with cancer, travelled to an established centre in England for therapy and support and saw the great need in Ireland for a similar service The LARCC Centre gives support and holistic help to people living with cancer providing a supportive environment where patients and family members can participate in our courses, obtain information and experience complementary therapies On Fri 7th Sept last LARCC welcomed 11 volunteers from PerkinElmer Ireland who selected our charity as their charity of choice for a day of volunteering in our Sensory Garden
